Knee or Back Pain with Running or Lifting?

Do you have a dumb butt? 🤔

Trust me, I’m not trying to offend you…I see it ALL THE TIME.

I have had the strongest Crossfit guys on my table and I put them in sidelying to check their glute strength and BOOM💥I overpower them easily.

🏋🏽These are guys deadlift 300# lbs, but magically not very good at using their butts.

🏃🏽‍♀️I’ve had female runners that go out for a 6-8 mile run as if it’s as easy as their recovery day and they can’t hold their leg up while on their stomach against my resistance.

I mean, I am strong (shoutout to F45 and the YMCA)... but I’m not THAT strong.

🧐So what’s up with all these “dumb butts”?

I like to call it the mind-butt connection and it’s lacking.

We are forward fixed people.

We have rounded shoulders and forward heads.

This also applies to our lower bodies!

Our quads tend to take over during squats, lunges and honestly a majority of exercises unless we have created that connection that says “hey, glutes… why don’t you come to the party today”. 🥳

After seeing many very active (and of course inactive) people with weak a** glutes, I created this Booty Builder Challenge!

This FREE download comes with the program, a tracker, tips & tricks and access to a free call with me along the way – if you so desire.

Starting with an “isolation” set of exercises that helps build the mind-butt connection all the way to a progression that helps you integrate with your squats, lunges and other functional activities.

This way you can stop:

  1. Overly relying on your quads potentially causing your knee pain.

  2. Have glutes that are strong enough to take some of the work of your lower back that’s hurting.

  3. See the tone changes you are looking for – just in time for summer! 🍑

I’ll see your booty there. 🍑
